Something a little crazy:
Recently - twice in the past three days - I’ve been asked where I’m from because of my accent, my northern accent. When I say that I was born in Oregon, they’re like “oh, okay, that makes sense”.
One guy even told me that I had a bit of a Canadian accent, and that kinda blew me away.
So it’s cool for me to be seeing my Northwestern roots still come out even after it’s been 11 since I’ve lived there.
