I’m so stinking frustrated in how much this world is consumed by money. Nothing can be done without money. I hate how it consumes our lives and makes it a priority. If there was some kind of alternative to this stupid green paper that corrupts us, I would gladly take it.
it’s like an Apple store is in my grandparents’ house with all the iPhones, Macbooks, iPads, and iPods.
The Perry family Nerf War took place this afternoon. It was so much fun! I’m definitely glad that we planned that!

my little cousin is walking around my grandparents’ house with his iPod touch, taking pictures of family members and trying to be stealthy about it.
recorded history tonight. my uncle set up a video camera in my grandparents’ living room and we all sat and listened to the history of our family and the history of my grandparents on video. it has been another incredible night at my grandparents’ house.
The first Nerf War at the Grand-Perry’s house took place this evening. It was well fought. Both sides lost valiant warriors.
Awesome family time.
we out to lunch today (16 of us) to a place that claims to have “the best Chicken Fried Steak in Texas”. It proved its name well; giant Chicken fried steaks! Multiple to-go boxes were taken home.
