Something a little crazy:
Recently - twice in the past three days - I’ve been asked where I’m from because of my accent, my northern accent. When I say that I was born in Oregon, they’re like “oh, okay, that makes sense”.
One guy even told me that I had a bit of a Canadian accent, and that kinda blew me away.
So it’s cool for me to be seeing my Northwestern roots still come out even...

So I’m definitely getting one of my forearm tattoos for my 20th birthday in December.
Yes, it will be on my forearm and if that means that I have to wear long-sleeve shirts a lot, then so be it. I would like my tattoos to be conversation starters that can help me share the gospel.
And if the church I work at doesn’t like my tattoos, then I’ll either cover them up and use them...

my throat’s been kinda sore since last night. drinking cold stuff helps, but once the drink is gone the soreness comes back. i’m thinking i’ll be going down to CVS tomorrow and getting some cough drops or something for a sore throat. prayers would be much appreciated!
